Bike shops Lightspeed × Salesforce

Your repair bench knows the bike.
Now it knows the rider.

Konnectryx keeps Lightspeed synchronised with Salesforce in near real time, so every tune-up, accessory and new bike you ring up builds a record of the rider behind it. This is the POS CRM integration for bike shops: no exports, no overnight batch, no wondering who is due for service.

Where your riders come from

Three reasons a rider walks in, one record when they leave.

A bike shop lives on the repair bench first, then on bikes and accessories, then on the rides and demo days that build a following. The connector treats them all alike: whatever is rung through Lightspeed is attached to a person, so the bench stops being a black box.

Tune-ups, overhauls and repairs

A flat fix, a suspension service and a full overhaul are all sales at the register. Once they sync, the rider's record shows what was done and when, so a reminder before spring is a Salesforce list, not a guess.

Bikes, e-bikes and accessories

Every bike, helmet, light and rack lands in Salesforce as a Closed Won Opportunity with its line items. You can see who bought an e-bike and has never bought a charger or a lock, and make that offer once.

Group rides, demo days and clinics

Ride entries, demo day sign-ups and maintenance clinics are bought at the counter too. With those on the record, last season's riders are one Salesforce list away from this season's invitation.

How it works

Two directions,
two speeds, no re-keying.

The connector runs in two modes depending on which way the data moves. Whether it is a repair ticket paid on a busy Saturday or an email corrected by the service manager in Salesforce, nobody presses a button.

Polled, as often as every five minutes

Insight asks Lightspeed for anything that changed since it last looked. You choose the interval, down to five minutes.

Interval you control Customers, sales, products Employees, shops, registers

Queued the moment you hit save

Any Account or Contact update in Salesforce is queued immediately and sent as fast as Lightspeed's API will accept it.

Insight polls Lightspeed on your interval, as often as every five minutes.

2

Changed customers, sales, quotes, items, employees, registers and shops are collected.

3

Records are compared against Salesforce so duplicates are not created.

4

Sales land as a Closed Won Opportunity and an Activated Order, line items included.

1

An Account or Contact is updated in Salesforce and saved.

2

That record is queued immediately, no waiting for the next poll.

3

Insight sends it as quickly as Lightspeed's API will accept changes.

4

Bulk updates are paced deliberately, so a mass edit does not overrun the queue.

One rider, every touchpoint

From a flat tire to a rider who buys here for years.

Here is one illustrative rider moving through a bike shop. The record shown under each step is sample data, to explain how the Salesforce profile builds up as sales are rung through Lightspeed.

Repair drop-off

A rider leaves a bike for a tune-up. When it is paid for, that sale creates the customer in Salesforce without anyone typing a name twice.

Then the follow-up is easy: a Salesforce list of riders who service here, own an e-bike and have not been on a group ride yet. The connector delivers the data. Your Salesforce does the reminding.

What syncs

Six objects. One click to see every field.

These are the real mappings from the product overview, not a marketing summary. Open any card to read the field level detail, including the Person Account variants that many bike shops use for individual riders.

Field mapping explorer

Search the whole mapping table.

Type a Lightspeed field, a Salesforce label, or an API name. If your team has ever argued about where the rider's email ends up, this settles it.

Insight cannot sync Lightspeed custom fields. Everything else above is standard.

Conflicts and duplicates

When the service counter and the front office disagree.

A rider gives one phone number at drop-off and another when they email about a quote. Two way sync only works if disagreements are handled honestly, so the connector flags them instead of guessing, and compares records before writing so one rider never becomes two.

Duplicate prevention

Account and contact details are compared before creation, so the same customer does not appear twice.

Flagged for review

When the same field is edited differently in each system, the record is held for a human decision.

Pick once, both update

Choose the correct value and Insight writes it to both platforms. The conflict closes.

Sync only what you want

Configuration decides what is in scope. Anything you leave out simply does not move.

Straight answers

The questions bike shops ask first.

Anything you ring through Lightspeed is a sale, and sales are fetched into Salesforce as a Closed Won Opportunity and an Activated Order with line items. A tune-up, a flat fix and a new bike all arrive the same way. Work order tracking and online booking tools are separate products and are not part of this sync, so tell us which ones you use on the call.
It depends on direction. Going from Lightspeed to Salesforce, the connector polls on an interval you set, as short as five minutes. Going from Salesforce to Lightspeed, an Account or Contact update is queued the moment it is saved and sent as fast as Lightspeed's API will accept it.
The connector compares the information inside a record before creating anything, which stops the same person turning up twice. Where the two systems genuinely disagree on a value, the record is flagged for review instead of being overwritten.
Yes. If Person Accounts are enabled in your org, the connector uses the Person Account fields in place of the default Contact mapping. Two fields behave differently under Person Accounts: Company and Website do not sync. Every variant is listed in the explorer above.
Yes. Shops and registers are fetched from Lightspeed into Salesforce, so sales can be traced to the shop and register that made them. The business needs one Lightspeed license and one Salesforce license. Larger multi-location rollouts can be scoped as custom work.
Yes. Configuration decides what is in scope, and anything you leave out does not move. It is easiest to settle while looking at your own records on a call.
The connector cannot sync Lightspeed custom fields. Standard fields are covered thoroughly, and advanced mapping can be quoted separately if your setup depends on something unusual.
Both. The connector works with Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
